Atatürk Üniversitesi (Ataturk University) is a land-grant university in Erzurum, Turkey. The university consists of 17 faculties, 5 high schools, 15 vocational high schools, 6 institutes and 16 research centers with 42,000 students. Atatürk University’s main campus is in Erzurum city, the region’s largest city, in Eastern Anatolia Region of Turkey. It is now one of the city’s most significant resources. Since its establishment in 1957, it has served as a hub of educational and cultural excellence for the eastern region. The university is twinned with and has agreement of cooperation with the University of Nebraska.
