Ayagoz or Ayakoz (Kazakh: Аягөз, formerly Russian: Сергиополь, Sergiopol`) is the administrative center of Ayagoz District in East Kazakhstan Province. Ayagoz was founded in 1831 on the Ayagoz River, and it currently has approximately 35,000 inhabitants. It is a major railway station on the Turksib.

The 78th Tank Division, formerly of the Soviet Army but now part of the Kazakh Ground Forces is based here.
