Bambarakanda Falls or Bambarakele Falls is 263m high and the highest waterfall in Sri lanka1 and 299th highest waterfall in the world.2 It is situated in Kalupahana area in Badulla District on Colombo-Badulla highway. It is formed by Kuda Oya a tributary of Walawe Ganga. The Falls is located in a forest of Pine and tropical trees.
