Bang Phlat (Thai: บางพลัด) is one of the 50 districts (Khet) of Bangkok, Thailand. Its neighbor, clockwise from north, are Amphoe Bang Kruai of Nonthaburi Province, Bang Sue, Dusit, Phra Nakhon, Bangkok Noi, and Taling Chan districts of Bangkok.

History

Bang Phlat was once a Kwaeng of Bangkok Noi. Then the Bang Phlat district was set up in 1989 taking 4 sub-districts from Bangkok Noi. West side of Borommaratchachonnani Road and Somdet Phra Pin Klao Road were moved back to Bangkok Noi in 1991.
