Bangar is a small town in Brunei, and the capitol of Temburong district. There is just one main road which runs through the town, running roughly east-west. Heading east the road heads to Lawas, Sabah (Malaysia) and to the west the road heads to the river crossing to Limbang, Sarawak (Malaysia). It is the major source of local quarry where boulders are collected, processed and shipped to stockyards at Bandar Seri Begawan for the construction industries. The population is 3,970 inhabitants.
