Cervantes is a 4th class municipality in the province of Ilocos Sur, Philippines. According to the 2000 census, it has a population of 14,195 people in 2,673 households.
The municipality has recently been declared as the Summer Capital of Ilocos Sur, owing to its proximity to Mountain Province and Benguet.
Cervantes is politically subdivided into 13 barangays.
