Del Reyes De Guzman is a Filipino politician. He is the current Philippine Congress Legislator for the 2nd District of Marikina City. He is also the chairman of the House Committee on BASIC EDUCATION AND CULTURE.

Education

Took his elementary education at H. Bautista Elementary School, secondary at Rosevelt College, Lamuan, Marikina City and his college degree at the University of the East, Manila.

Del de Guzman was the Vice Mayor for the City of Marikina from 1992-2001. He was the Vice Mayor of then Mayor (now MMDA Chairman) Bayani Fernando. He was also Municipal Councilor from 1988-1992.

Upon the creation of the 2nd District of Marikina City through Republic Act No. 9364, of which he was the principal author, he ran again under the administration and won in May 2007. He was thus the the first congressman of the said district.
