Poldasht (پلدشت) is a county in the West Azarbaijan province in north-western Iran. Poldasht is a Persian word meaning the Bridge's Prairie. Adjacent to the Poldasht city is the Aras River Dam and an Iranian border terminal.

In the 2006 census, the city had a population of 8,584.

In the village of Dare Sham, in the Gechlart district of Poldasht there is the historical Church of Saint Stephanos which is visited annually by hundreds of Iranian and foreign tourists.
