Uthai Thani is a town (thesaban mueang) in Thailand, capital of the Uthai Thani province. It covers the whole tambon Uthai Mai of Mueang Uthai Thani district. As of 2005 it has a population of 17,510.

Uthai Thani is located on the main Train Route between Bangkok and Chiang Mai, and on the shore of the Chao Phraya River.
